FAQ
Answers to commonly asked questions.
How can I receive payout for my event?
- You'll need to probvide your bank account details in the account settings.
- You'll need to pass the KYC process (provide basic documents to confirm your identity for individual organisers, or documents about your legal entity for a business account).
- You can request a payout on the day after the event date. You will need to request payout manually, using event admin page.
What happens if my event doesn't reach the sales target?
The decision to cancel or proceed with an event that hasn't reached its sales target is entirely up to you as the event organiser. However there's some automatic logic in place.
If your event doesn't reach the sales target, here's what happens:
- 3 days before event, EventKick will send you an email notification if the expected number of ticket sales hasn't been reached. You have the choice to either cancel the event or proceed with it despite not reaching the target.
If you choose to cancel the event:
- All event visitors will be notified via email about the cancellation.
- Automatic payment refunds will be triggered for all visitors.
- You will not be able to request a payout for a cancelled event.
If you choose to proceed with the event:
- You can manually set the event status as "successful" at the event settings page.
- The event will be marked as successful and visible publicly.
- You can request a payout for the tickets that were sold, after the event.
